Head for the Swiss border with the Risoud scented candle, a tribute to Europe’s largest forest. This spruce forest, straddling France and Switzerland, is prized by luthiers for its exceptional wood. Its deep red glass, reminiscent of precious stones, is created by dipping molten glass into natural pigments, then wrapping it in a vertical strand of glass. The decoration comes to life during the blowing process — the result of expert craftsmanship mastered by skilled artisans.
